Ram’s “Texas truck” has returned: the 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 Lone Star is now on the Dallas-Fort Worth Auto Show floor.

Sold only in Texas, the “Lone Star” is exclusive to the largest pickup truck market in the U.S. Buyers can opt for the highest torque in the class, with a full thousand pound-feet; the trucks can be outfitted with 35,100 pounds of towing capacity and a 7,680 pound payload.

An rear air suspension now has a driver-activated Bed-Lowering Mode as well as normal and trailer-towing modes.
