Winters in the cold-weather states are far more enjoyable when you embrace and take advantage of the season. That’s a much easier proposition when you drive a vehicle that (1) handles well even in poor conditions and (2) looks good while doing it. With a capable all-wheel-drive (AWD) system not to mention an icy-cool demeanor and “athletic-luxury” styling, the new 2013 Chrysler 300 Glacier is a vehicle that meets and exceeds both of those demands.

What is it that makes the AWD system in this car so capable? The Chrysler 300 Glacier features a segment-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle-disconnect system. When AWD is not required, the system automatically disconnects the front axle to maximize fuel economy while still providing the outstanding fun-to-drive performance inherent to rear-wheel-drive vehicles.

In our opinion, no other major automotive manufacturer can boast a car that looks this icy cool. We know claims like that are always subjective, but given that the Glacier builds on the avant-garde appearance of the Chrysler 300S, we feel it’s a statement that is accurate nonetheless. Here are some of the finer points of the vehicle’s fit and finish:
